Recent Work

At Madarsa Madina Secondary School, Birendranagar–10, Belghari, Surkhet, CDC Nepal conducted a stationery distribution program providing notebooks, pens, pencils, school bags, and other educational materials to support students’ learning and encourage access to quality education for children in need. The program was supported by Rotary Club of New York Queens (District 7255), Ongchhu Sherpa Trust, Shyam Phullmaya Foundation, and Gurbhakot Municipality.

Community Development Center Nepal (CDC Nepal) is a non-profit organization established in 2025 in Surkhet-10, Nepal, dedicated to strengthening communities through sustainable development initiatives. We work across key sectors including Health, Education, Agriculture, Environment, and Disaster Management, focusing on improving livelihoods, promoting awareness, and building resilient communities. By collaborating with local stakeholders, youth, and development partners, CDC Nepal aims to create inclusive opportunities and long-term positive impact. CDC Project

CDC Nepal carries out community-based projects focused on health, education, agriculture, environmental protection, and disaster management. Through these initiatives, we support vulnerable communities, provide educational materials, promote awareness, and deliver relief support to improve livelihoods and create sustainable development across Nepal.

School Bag Distribution

At Shiva Secondary School, located in Ward No. 11 of Birendranagar Municipality, Surkhet, 50 school bags and educational materials were distributed to 50 students from Dalit and Badi communities studying at the school.

Distribution of Disaster Management Materials

In coordination with the Armed Police Force (APF) office in Birendranagar Municipality–1, essential materials related to risk management and disaster response activities were distributed to support emergency preparedness .

Traffic Awareness Program – Bus Park Area

A traffic awareness program was conducted in the Bus Park area of Birendranagar, Surkhet, in collaboration with the Traffic Police, with the objective of reducing road accidents and increasing public awareness about road safety.
