Distribution of Disaster Management Materials – APF, Bhareshimal
The Community Development Center Nepal (CDC Nepal) contributed to strengthening disaster preparedness and emergency response capacity in Surkhet by providing essential disaster management equipment to the Armed Police Force (APF) office located in Birendranagar Municipality–1, Bhareshimal.
This initiative was carried out in coordination with the Armed Police Force Nepal, with the objective of supporting security forces in their disaster risk management and emergency response operations. The distributed materials are expected to enhance the ability of the APF to respond effectively to natural disasters and other emergency situations in the region.








During the program, the Senior Superintendent of Armed Police Force Nepal and Acting Brigade Commander of No. 6 Maheswari Brigade, Surkhet, presented an Appreciation Letter to Mrs. Radha Matangi, President of Community Development Center Nepal, in recognition of CDC Nepal’s valuable contribution in providing disaster management equipment.
This initiative was made possible with the generous support of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu Circle and Sun Life Insurance Nepal, whose partnership played an important role in strengthening disaster preparedness efforts in the Karnali region.
On the occasion, CDC Nepal reaffirmed its commitment to continue working closely with security forces, government institutions, and local communities to improve disaster preparedness, response capacity, and community resilience across Karnali Province.
