Traffic Awareness Program – Bus Park Area, Birendranagar

The Community Development Center Nepal (CDC Nepal) organized a Traffic Safety Awareness Program in the Bus Park area of Birendranagar, Surkhet, with the objective of promoting responsible driving behavior, reducing road accidents, and increasing public awareness about road safety.

The program was conducted on 29th Shrawan 2082 (Nepali calendar) in Karnali Province, Surkhet, in collaboration with the Traffic Police and the Armed Police Force (APF). The initiative was implemented with the generous support of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu and Sun Nepal Life Insurance.

During the program, important messages regarding traffic safety, adherence to traffic rules, responsible driving practices, and accident prevention measures were shared with drivers, pedestrians, and the general public. The campaign aimed to encourage road users to follow traffic regulations and contribute to creating safer roads for everyone.

The event also highlighted the importance of community participation in improving road safety and building a culture of responsible driving.

CDC Nepal expresses its sincere appreciation to the Armed Police Force and Traffic Police for their active involvement and dedication, which played a crucial role in making the awareness campaign effective and impactful.
