Rama Kandel

Donor Advisor, CDC Nepal

Rtn. Rama Kandel is a distinguished Rotarian and community service leader affiliated with the Rotary Club of Bagmati Kathmandu (Club ID: 63637) under Rotary International District 3292, Nepal–Bhutan. With a long and decorated career within the Rotary movement, she has served the club at the highest level, including as President of the Rotary Club of Bagmati Kathmandu, earning the distinguished designation of Past President (PP).

Following her presidential tenure, she was appointed Service Project Chair of the Rotary Club of Bagmati Kathmandu, reflecting the club’s continued trust in her leadership. At the district level, she successfully served as Community Service Chair and House of Friendship (Service Project Showcase) Committee Chair at the 17th District Conference of Rotary International District 3292, Nepal–Bhutan, held in March 2025. She has also served as Toastmaster at major Rotary events, including the Inter-College Speech Competition 2026 organised by the Rotary Club of Bagmati Kathmandu. 

 

Arjun Khadka

Arjun Khadka is a dedicated Nepali-American community leader, philanthropist, and social entrepreneur who serves as Ambassador of Himani Trust, Connecticut, USA, Board of Director of Hami Nepali Global, and President of the Lion Club of Kathmandu — Creative Entrepreneurs. Deeply committed to uplifting Nepali communities both at home and abroad  investing his time, leadership, and personal resources in grassroots development initiatives across Nepal. With a strong presence bridging the Nepali diaspora in the United States and communities on the ground in Nepal, Arjun brings a spirit of service, solidarity, and cross-border collaboration to every role he holds  championing education, humanitarian support, and community empowerment as the cornerstones of his lifelong mission.
