Rasuwa Flood Second Phase Relief : Emergency Medicine Support
Community Development Center Nepal (CDC Nepal) has delivered emergency diabetes medication and other essential medicines to flood-affected communities in Rasuwa, marking the second phase of its relief assistance.
The response followed CDC Nepal’s field assessment on 30 August 2026, which identified a severe shortage of essential medicines in the affected areas. These findings helped prioritise medical assistance for people facing disrupted access to necessary supplies.
This initiative was carried out in coordination with the Armed Police Force Nepal, with the objective of supporting security forces in their disaster risk management and emergency response operations. The distributed materials are expected to enhance the ability of the APF to respond effectively to natural disasters and other emergency situations in the region.

Mr. Suresh Thapa, a member of CDC Nepal’s medical team, travelled to the affected area and distributed medicines directly to people in need. Additional supplies were handed over to the Armed Police Force (APF) for further distribution.
By combining direct assistance with coordination through security agencies, CDC Nepal worked to extend support to communities facing urgent health needs.
Continuing Our Relief and Recovery Efforts

Together, we stand with the people of Rasuwa and Nuwakot as they move towards recovery.
